Ishmael Coil on Plug  Distributor

 

Ishmael  was First  to introduce Multi Coil Ignition in 1975 for Hi Performance Street and Racing Engines.

Today's Quintessential names, "Coil on Plug" or "Coil at Plug" are a continuance of our early introduction of using a coil per cylinder.

Below is a picture of an early production distributor manufacured in 1985.

Later production units were available with and without a spark advance.

Our next generation of Multi Coil or Coil on Plug will be  electronically controlled  to meet todays demand for a superior, yet simple sytem.
